UNESCO Director-General, Ms Irina Bokova’s Message on the occasion of World Press Freedom Day 2015. The global thematic of WPFD 2015 is “Let Journalism Thrive! Towards Better Reporting, Gender Equality, & Media Safety in the Digital Age”.
The main celebration of WPFD is jointly hosted by UNESCO and the Government of Latvia and will take place in Riga from 2-4 May 2015 (see more at http://www.unesco.org/new/en/wpfd).
