The COVID-19 pandemic has led to learning disruption on a scale never seen before. The closure of learning institutions has affected the lives of more than 1.5 billion students in over 190 countries.

At the same time, the pandemic has served as a wake-up call to make education systems more resilient to crisis, more inclusive and sustainable.
As a result, we – students, parents, teachers, governments, organizations and the private sector – worked together to innovate and create possibilities to keep everyone learning and get them back at school safely.
